Makiki Valley Loop Trail
3.2 miles 1036ft elevation Loop Trail
AllTrails lists it as Moderate
This was a pretty good hike through the forest. No real views to speak of. If your just looking for exercise, then this is a pretty good loop, I suggest going clockwise where you have the choice, otherwise you will start off with a long butt-crunching incline.
Pretty wide path to start off
You don't see this very often.... A nice map of the trails
A nice map of the loop
Follow this sign.... It is a little misleading
Take the fork to the right
Steady incline ahead
A little bench to take a water break
I went left here
A little peek out of the trees
Steady incline full of roots
Gets a little muddy through here.... Its not hiking if you don't get muddy!
long steady incline of wooden "steps"
You will arrive at a crossroads to multiple hiking trails
Go left down the hill to continue the loop
Another convenient map to let you know where you are
Your close to the end!
