Back on the Trail!
Got the itch to head out on a hike. I haven't really done any hiking since I was hurt last August 1st. I did one hike in December with my guests back to Lulumahu Falls, but thats about it. I decided to try and do a longer hike, since I am trying to get rid of the 20 pounds I gained while being laid up. I have dropped 7 so far, so hopefully I can get back to where I was, and maybe even drop another 10 after that. The Manana Ridge Trail was what I decided on. It is basically a 7 mile out and back hike. It was a nice day so I headed on up. It was a gradual incline for most of it, with a few steeper parts along the way. The views were mostly of the valley on both sides, with some far-off views of Pearl Harbor. I only went a little past the 2.5 mile-marker on the trail. I just wasn't feeling it. I also saw some clouds rolling in on the other side of the ridge, so I trusted my gut and figured I would just make it a nice 5 mile hike. Good thing though, because on the way down my left thigh really started bothering me. The hike really wasn't to my particular taste. I like a little more diversity, as far as surroundings and views. But as with any hike, it was nice to get out and breath the fresh air and get lost in my thoughts.

Well it was a very quiet new year's eve for me, but I look forward to a great 2023. Hopefully find a partner in crime to go exploring with. I don't really care if it turns out to be a love interest
Well, although I feel and have the energy of someone in their thirties, and probably act that way too, haha, my body is another year older today. I don't feel my age, and hopefully I will never lose
