Hawaii Loa. A real butt cruncher!
This hike kicked my butt quite a bit. Lots of steep inclines for the 2 1/2 miles to reach the end. About half of it out in the open, so I am glad I started this hike early. It is in a gated community, ie. rich folks haha, seriously though, really nice houses, so they only allow 10 cars in at any time for hiking. That's how big the parking area is. A lot of beautiful views along the way, and you end up on a nice platform with a gorgeous 360 degree view of the ocean and the mountains. It was a sunny day, so it was picture heaven.
